We spotted this marvellous statue by the USS Midway museum in San Diego.It could have been us 44 years ago so we re-enacted the scene as well as old bones & a fit of giggles would allow us.
Only the uniform was different.

Good one and quite a successful effort at recreating the pose. It's a remarkable piece of sculpture...... didn't know about it.
i bet mum loved that, but i bet it wasnt as funny as the dahlias! i can just hear the giggle now.
