We have now been in Santa Rosa for a couple of days staying with Loretta.
A brief meeting with Loretta last year has quickly developed into the start of a lifelong friendship. She's one of life's beautiful people and we thank her for her generosity.

We took her with us when we visited the local barbershop chorus on Thursday evening.
They were heavily involved in rehearsing for their upcoming shows (today) but nevertheless found time to make us very welcome. The Redwood Chordsmen are not a large chorus as you'll see from the picture but they make a wonderfully 'tight' sound. Phil DeBar, their director was very good and the guys responded to him which I guess helps to make them as good as they are.



I got time to sing a song with a quartet which was very enjoyable despite the lack of any vocal or physical warm up on my part. Thanks guys, I'm sorry I didn't get your name but you know who you are.
