California here I come

Val & I are off to California in the morning for a two month holiday so it should actually be 'here we come' but that would have spoiled the acronym CHIC.
Lot's of our friends and family members have asked us to keep them up to date with our travels so I thought I'd try a blog rather than send everyone individual or bulk emails.
I'll try to keep it interesting and I hope you'll post comments to let me know you're still reading it. If you're not I guess that tells me that I've failed in my attempts.
I can't guarantee that I'll post daily but I'll try to be as regular as I'm allowed!
That's it for my first try.
I'm off for a shower then to bed.

Rob, welcome to the world of blogging! Time doesn't allow at this minute, but I'm ever so eager to read what you've written so far. The whole thing looks very attractively laid out......enticing, in fact.
I've managed to lose my whole address book while trying to sync to the new laptop, so life has that little added stress at the moment. Don't ask if I had it backed up.
